Inscription. In memory of Megumi Shigematsu (1927-1992), former President of the Biwako Kisen Steamship Company in Otsu, Japan in honor of his vision and leadership for international education through the Lansing Community College study abroad programs, Japan Adventure and Japan Horizon.
 
Erected 2006 by Lansing Community College.
