1. "Streaming History" Marker

Inscription. From ice skating and ice harvesting to fishing, car washing or just "bridge sitting", the DuPage River has drawn Napervillians for generations, as it does today. "Streaming History" depicts activity along the river, in the surrounding countryside and the center of town, from Pre-settlement to the 21st Century. The series was originated and installed by Marquette Properties in conjunction with development of Water Street District. It could not have been completed without research and visual references generously provided by Naper Settlement.
