Marktbrunnen
Market Square fountain
first mentioned in 1478
From 1522 onwards there was initially a stone fountain with a statue of Duke Ulrich. The cast-iron market fountain was made in 1773, and the statue was replaced by an artistic column with copper floral decorations. The coats of arms of the sovereign, Carl Duke of Württemberg, the town of Schorndorf and the town authorities are attached to the sides.
