From 1888 to 1899, the sculptor Camille Claudel (1864-1943) lived and worked in a studio at the back of the courtyard located at 113 Boulevard d'Italie (today Boulevard Auguste Blanqui). There she created major works such as La Valse (“The Waltz”), Les Causeuses, La Vague (“The Wave”)...
