1. Dannebod Marker
Inscription. One of the first white children born in Brookville Township or in the area, named Minnesota by patriotic parents, is buried here at the Dannebod Cemetery. Although the cemetery was established in 1876, the early settlers in the area did not have a church building until the Fredsminde Church was constructed on the cemetery grounds in 1889. A monument marks the place where the church stood until it was moved in 1961. Since the early days when volunteers cared for the cemetery, memorial funds have been donated for the maintenance of this quiet, beautiful setting.

Erected 1976 by the Dannebod Cemetery Association.
