1. Johnson Street Marker
Inscription. Johnson (originally named Johnston) Street was the first street to be laid out on Solar Hill in 1871. It was named for Joseph Johnston of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania who sold the land for development. The name evolved into Johnson Street through common usage.
