🐚 Paradise Shores Model Homes - Then vs. Now 🐚
The first model home built in late 1950s - Aerial view of the home several years later. Polynesian-fever swept the country when Hawaii became a new state. The name Paradise Shores and tiki designs of the first model homes were part of this "fever."

🐚 Paradise Shores Property Sales 🐚
In 1964 Paradise Shores property lots sold for $1,550. At 6,000 square feet, these lots were larger than anywhere else in the South Bethany Town. And Carlisle Lagoon is the widest canal. Six years later, in 1970, they were selling for $5,400.

Pre-bulkhead shore line. No bulkheads existed in Paradise Shores until the Town created a Compulsory Bulkheading Ordinance in 1983.
