The nearest vessel is either an English or Norwegian freighter at the coal dock, located about where the Tongass Trading Company dock store now stands on Berth 2. Next is the U.S. Army cable ship Burnside, and the third vessel furthest down the wharf appears to be the passenger steamer Prince Rupert. This photo was taken from Nob Hill above the Ketchikan Tunnel.
