Moosic in Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania — The American Northeast (Mid-Atlantic)
Triple-A National Championship Game Wall of Hope
Inscription.
On September 19, 2017, the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Railriders hosted the Gildan Triple-A National Championship Game at PNC Field. The Railriders and their charitable arm, the SWB Pinstripes Foundation, launched a historic fundraiser in support of Stand Up to Cancer and local Northeast Pennsylvania cancer-affiliated organizations: Coaches vs. Cancer, American Cancer Society, Foundation for Cancer Care, Candy's Place, Northeast Regional Cancer Institute and Susan G. Komen. The Wall of Hope is comprised of more then 100 bricks. Each is inscribed with personal messages of love, inspiration and remembrance for those affected by cancer. This plaque will remain as a permanent fixture at PNC Field to commemorate a celebration of life when families, friends and our community bonded together on that momentous occasion.
