1. Chocolate & Cocoa Avenues Marker
Inscription. Hershey's main streets were named Chocolate Avenue and Cocoa Avenue in coordination with construction of the Hershey Chocolate Factory. The four corners created by their intersection formed the town center. Chocolate Avenue is known for its iconic Hershey's Kisses-shaped streetlights.

While Hershey is often referred to as a town, it is not a formal municipality per the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Additionally, there is only one municipality formally organized as a town in the entire state, with municipalities organized as cities, boroughs and townships.
