The Litten Water Gardens at Edgebriar Park are named in appreciation of Frances Ann and Donald D. Litten.
Mrs. Litten, a nationally accredited flower show judge and president of the Round Hill Garden Club, enthusiastically promoted beautification efforts in Bridgewater. Mr. Litten served the Town of Bridgewater for fifty years' (1956-2006), most of these in the capacity of Town Attorney. During his tenure in office he drafted the first Green Law and was instrumental in efforts to beautify Main Street.
