Inscription.
DeGregoire Green was designed and built by the Bar Harbor Village Improvement Association in 2018. The park was named after the DeGregoire Hotel which was on this site until burning to the ground in the Great Fire of 1947. Funding was provided by the BHVIA, private citizens and local businesses. The land was generously set aside by the families of Joseph Cough and Lance Mahaney.
