1. Tollington Bridge Marker
Inscription.
The Tollington Bridge was constructed in 1998 to access the Rotary Greenway Trail along the north shore of Little Lake. Funds for this project were provided by the Tollington Park Endowment Fund. Impressed by the beauty of the parks and the waterways in the City of Peterborough , Gordon C. Tollington, P. Eng. Established the Tollington Park Endowment Fund in 1995 for the improvement, beautification and expansion of parks for the benefit of all citizens. The Tollington Park Endowment Fund is managed by the National Trust who assisted with project selection and Financing.
