Regarding M/V Athel Queen. M/V Athelqueen, built by Furness Shipbuilding, was a British Molasses tanker, torpedoed and sunk during World War II by Italian submarine 'Enrico Tazzoli,' helmed by officer Carlo Fecia di Cossato of the Italian Royal Navy, east of Abaco on 15 March 1942.
The three men named were lost on the reef from one of the Athelqueen lifeboats around midnight on 17 March 1942.
