1. Hospital Marker

Inscription.
The hospital was distinctly L-shaped and included a kitchen, three small rooms, and a cellar. The exact number of patients could the hospital could accommodate is unknown. Based on limited records, it seems likely there were twenty or fewer patients at any one time. A staff of one post surgeon and one matron treated and nursed both soldiers and civilians. The post surgeon was also responsible for sanitation on the post, including garbage disposal and company kitchen inspections.
