Inscription. Original Owner: There is some question if Daniel Brisco Sr. (1843-1918) or Daniel Brisco Jr. (1878-1945) owned the cabin first. It is listed as the "Brisco Cabin" in a 1911 newspaper article. David Jr. did acquire the deed for the cabin in 1919 after his father died.

Other owners: Daniel Brisco III (1908-1947) owned the cabin until his early death. The next owner was his daughter, Sara Allen Brisco, who married Joseph Noyes. The last owner was his oldest daughter, Charlette, who married Oscar Scruggs. The cabin remained in the family until the lease ended in 1992.
