Co-founder of the François Duesberg Museum in Mons
This exhibition is set up in the Maison de la Toison d'Or, whose Renaissance-style façade dates from the early 17th century and features the coats of arms,of the de Ligne, Bucquoy de Longueval and de Croy.families in its gable, all adorned with the Toison d'Or chain
It pays tribute to Baroness Betty Duesberg. the daughter of a miner from the Liège basin, who was ennobled by King Albert Il in 2004 in recognition of a lifetime of work and self-sacrifice in the service of the Duesberg collection.
Sho played a major role in creating, maintaining and prometing it through the Duesberg Museum which she founded in 1994 with her husband Baron Duesberg.
Among the exhibits is a collection of Low Country silverware from Mons, particularly dear to Baroness Duesberg and an icon of the city's past wealth.

Il rend hommage à Madame la Baronne Betty Duesberg, fille d'un mineur du bassin liégeois, anoblie par le Roi Albert Il en 2004 au regard d'une vie de travail et d'abnégation au service de la collection Duesberg.
Elle a grandement participé à la constituer, lentretenir et à la faire rayonner à travers le Musée Duesberg qu'elle a créé en 1994 avec son époux le Baron Duesberg.
Ce salon présente entre autres une collection d'orfèvrerie montoise du XViII' siècle, particulièrement chère à la Baronne Duesberg et iconique de la richesse passée de la Ville de Mons.

Dit salon is ondergebracht in het Maison de la Toison d'Or, met een gevel in renaissancestij! uit het begin van de zeventiende eeuw. In de puntgevel zijn de wapenschilden van de families de Ligne, Bucquoy de Longueval en de Croy aangebracht, alle drie versierd met de ketting van de ridders van het Gulden Viles.
Het salon is een serbetoon aan barones Betty Duesberg, dochter van een mijnwerker uit het Luikse steenkoolbekken. In 2004 verhief koning Albert

Betty Duesberg speelde eunerg belangrijke rol bij de samenstelling en de instandhouding văn de collectie, Ook hielp ze de pitstraling ervan te versterken via het Museum Duesberg, dat ze in 1994 samen met haar echtgenoot baron Duesberg heeft opgericht.
In dit salon is onder meer een collectio achttiende-gouws zilverwerk uit Bergen te zien, arg geliefd door tarones Duesberg en symboo! voor de vroggare rijkdom van de stad.
