Fredericka Voorhaar Slingerland Alumnae House
Inscription.
Built for Robert Thompson in 1854, 69 First Street was given in his memory to Russell Sage College by Mrs. James Leland Thompson in 1943, and the trustees have designated it as permanent home of the Russell Sage College Alumnae Association.
On September 24, 1999 the house was named for Fredericka Voorhaar Slingerland, RSC '36 in recognition of her lifetime of service to her alma mater.
