1. Mounting Block Marker
Inscription. This large historic mounting block is an artifact from the 19th and early 20th centuries when the Grand Army House stood on this site. The block made it easier for hotel guests and other travelers to climb aboard or step down from horse-drawn carriages or Stanley Steamer Mountain Wagon auto stagecoaches.
