1. Town Drinking Fountain Marker

Inscription. Donated by the "Sunshine Circle” in 1912 and located at the north east corner of Dunn Street and Colborne Street (Lakeshore Road). Moved in 1915 to reservoir park due to street reconstruction. After several years in storage, the fountain was refurbished and installed in George's Square in 1981. Dedicated this 24th day of August 1982 in celebration of the 125th anniversary of the founding of the Town.
