The founder and first regent of the Pittsburgh Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution organized June 10th 1891
The first state regent to be confirmed by the National Society D.A.R. and the organizer of thirty two chapters in Pennsylvania during her state regency from: April 1891 - Feb. 1898
Mrs. Hogg, a descendent of patriots of distinction, was of commanding influence in the National Society, and one of the leaders in the adoption of the Lineal Amendment to the Constitution of the National Society, D.A.R.
