1. Martin-Crouch House Marker

Inscription. Queen Anne style house built for Eugene Stuart Martin (1840-1919), attorney. In 1921, purchased by Auley McRae Crouch (1886-1970), native of Montgomery County, physician; and wife, Minnie Lee McFall (1885-1962), native of Cleveland County. The couple had two sons, Auley McRae Crouch, Jr. (1919-1969) and Walter Lee Crouch (1924-1990). Father and sons were pediatricians. They lived and had their medical office here. The house remained in the family until 1983.
