Other war notes. Locals say a Federal soldier was killed nearby, but the local people interred him outside the cemetery since they felt that he should not be buried near the Confederates who were already buried there.
Another old tale is Federal calvary kept horses inside the church, hoof marks could be seen on the wood floor. Several years later, the original wood floor was replaced with new hardwood floor.
