More about this marker. The marker is visible, if one know roughly where to look, off of Exit 50 from I-80 westbound. The closest spot to park to walk to the marker is roughly 400 yards southwest of it. Alternatively, one might drive to the marker either from the west, on Duffy Road, or from the east, on Truck Inn Way, but in both instances it would also require figuring out where to turn onto the unnamed dirt road on which the marker is located. Note that although this dirt road is graded, driving conditions may vary according to season.
