Inscription. Feministische Politikerin, aktiv im Freiburger Verein für Frauenstimmrecht. Nach ihrer Heirat musste sie wegen des Beamtinnenzòlibats ihren Beruf als Lehrerin aufgeben.

Lina Wäldin gehörte als Abgeordnete der DDP 1919 zu den ersten Frauen im Freiburger Stadtparlament.

Im Obergeschoss des Rotteckhauses befand sich von 1907 bis 1928 der Freiburger Frauenklub. Als Kulturzentrum für bürgerliche Frauenrechtlerinnen war der Klub auch Versammlungslokal und Sitz für die feministischen Vereine in Freiburg.


Feminist politician, active in the Freiburg Association for Women's Suffrage. After her marriage, she had to give up her job as a teacher because of civil servant celibacy.

As a member of the DDP, Lina Wäldin was one of the first women in the Freiburg city parliament in 1919.

The Freiburg Women's Club was located on the upper floor of the Rotteckhaus from 1907 to 1928. As a cultural center for bourgeois women's rights activists, the club was also a meeting place and headquarters for the feminist associations in Freiburg.
