1. 19th and Main Marker
Inscription. The Grandview Building on the west end of this block was a private hospital founded by Dr. W. A. Henke in 1914. Grandview Hospital closed in 1969. The Grandview Nurses' Home was built in 1921 on what is now the parking lot east of the Grandview Building.
 
Erected 1999 by the City of La Crosse, the City's Historic Preservation Commission and the Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development. (Marker Number 14.)
