This home was built to impress with lavish dιcor and the latest in 1880's amenities like steam heat and electricity. This large home includes three porches, a parlor, kitchen, dining room, and at least 5 bedrooms.

Bankers, and other upper-middle-class members of the community, were expected to do more than just show off their wealth. A large home like this likely hired housekeepers, cooks, or other domestic help to manage daily life in the home.
