Inscription. Elizabeth had benefited from the help of her parents-in-law many times while her husband, William, served as a missionary. This time felt different. This time he would have to leave Elizabeth and their children with "no dwelling, save a wagon." Nonetheless, Elizabeth, who was pregnant with their third child, bade him farewell and once again turned to her parents-in-law for help.
