1. The Pond Marker
Inscription.

On the site of an old brickyard, the pond was created in 1894 during the construction of the first Library building, now Biemesderfer Center. The pond is fed by a natural spring, and has served as a location for important campus events such as May Day celebrations, concerts, summer theater productions and New Student Convocation/Candle Lighting ceremonies. It is also home to Miller and S'ville, Millersville's own resident swans.
