1. The New Amersfort Rock Marker
Inscription. This park is named after the City of Amersfort in the Netherlands, the homelands of the Dutch settlers who colonized and farmed this area of Brooklyn in the 1620's. This new Amersfort Rock is a replica of the 200,000 year old rock that proudly stands in the City of Amersfoort. This rock has become a symbol that celebrates the City of Amersfoort and links the Dutch and Brooklyn communities together.

3. Dedication paver in the park
Amersfort Park donated to New York City June 13, 1905 by the family of Elias Hubbart. Rededicated after renewal June 13, 1982 by Mr. TE Boekhorst, Consul General of the Netherlands in cooperation with the Amersfort Flatlands Development Corporation and the Amersfort Community Civic Association. This commemorative plaque has been donated by W.M. Rosen Monuments Inc. 1912 Flatbush Ave.
