La chiesa di S. Bonaventura, con l'annesso convento francescano, θ associata con la memoria di S. Leonardo, che morμ e fu sepolto in questo luogo. La chiesa fu eretta nel 1625 dal cardinale Francesco Barberini. Essa θ costruita su strutture romane, in particolare una grande cisterna dell'acquedotto Claudio, che doveva rifornire d'acqua il Palatino. Il muro romano in laterizio che separa la Vigna dalla via di S. Bonaventura θ arricchito sul lato esterno dalle stazioni della Via Crucis, in terracotta dipinta, di A. Bicchierai, artista del XVIII secolo.
The Church of S. Bonaventura and its attached Franciscan monastery is associated with the memory of Saint Leonard, who died and was buried here. The church was built in 1625 by Cardinal Francesco Barberini. It is built over Roman structures, in particular a large cistern of the Claudian aqueduct which brought water to the Palatine Hill. The Roman brick wall that separated the Vineyard from the via di S. Bonaventura is decorated on its exterior with the Stations of the Cross, made of painted terracotta by A. Bicchierai, an 18th century artist.
