1. Hinton-Nixon House Marker
Inscription. Dutch Colonial Revival style house built for Edgar Latimer Hinton (1868-1934), businessman and owner of the Seashore Hotel at Wrightsville Beach; and wife, Mamie E. Lively (1882-unk.), native of Birmingham, AL. From 1941 to 1991 owned by Nixon sisters, Anne Irene (1884-1973), teacher; Nora Vestal (1888-1983), secretary; and Cora Lee (1888-1991), teacher.
