1. Harrison-Norden House Marker
Inscription. Colonial Revival style house built as investment property for Thomas Wesley Harrison (1878-1955), president of A.D. Brown & Co., dry goods. Purchased in 1939 by Eric Norden (1869-1946), native of Sweden, civil engineer and mapmaker; and wife, Laura Howell (1903-1985), concert violinist and teacher, author and composer, music columnist for the Charlotte Observer, president of the NC Federation of Music Clubs and Wilmington's Thursday Morning Music Club.
