1. Stalnaker Cabin Site & Cemetery Marker
Inscription.
Located nearby is former site of a log cabin built circa 1795 by Jacob Stalnaker. The family, one of earliest in Randolph County, moved here ca. 1774. The family cemetery is also located nearby. The land on which the cabin sat was granted through a right of settlement claim. In 1996, cabin moved to Randolph County Museum grounds in Beverly and restored.
