1. Drag Harrow Marker
Inscription. After a field was plowed, especially if the ground is wet, large clods appear. These clods must be broken up into smaller pieces before he plants seeds, or the seeds won't come up. The first harrow was a tree limb with many smaller branches which was pulled over the soil. The Waldensians used a drag harrow like this one to prepare the soil.
