History:
The F9F in the DVHAA collection is Bureau #127120.

During the Korean Conflict the Panther delivered more ordnance than any other jet aircraft. 87% of the US Navy and Marine Corps jets flown in Korea were Panthers. 715 F9Fs flew a total of 78,000 sorties. One E9F delivered over 400,000 lbs. of bombs, fired over 100,000 rounds, and wore out 16 guns in combat.

Bureau #127130 last operated out of NADC Johnsville, PA. It was restored and donated to the DVHAA by Arthur Alan Wolk of Philadelphia, PA in 1987.
