Inscription. Established in 1963, Glenwood Grocery Store became a cornerstone for the Glenwood community and surrounding areas. Frederick "Freddy" Clark, having served the community for seven years as a Bay County Sheriff's deputy, embarked on a new chapter by purchasing the store from the Jenkins family.

For the next 35 years, Freddy wasn't just the owner, he was the heart and soul of the business. His dedication to providing quality goods and services was fueled by a deep passion for his customers. They, in turn, cherished his trustworthiness and loyalty.

Beyond the shelves, Freddy was known for his warm smile, a testament to his genuine care for the people he served. Family was also dear to his heart, adding another layer of warmth to the Glenwood Grocery experience.
