1. The Spring House Marker
Inscription. The Spring House was built in 1831. It is a one-story building with course stone exterior walls and quoins. The gabled roof has wooden shingles. Fountain springs run through the building. Originally, this building would have been used to store butter, cheese, and seasoned meat.
 
Erected by Shepherdstown Community Club.
