located in Goshen just off Route 17, the Goshen Emergency Hospital was closed.

Arden Hill Hospital and Horton Medical Center, Middletown, merged in 2002. The hospitals would now be known as Orange Regional Medical Center (ORMC). A new hospital is under construction in the Town of Wallkill. A 2011 opening is anticipated.
