Surrendered 15 Sep 1862 at Harper’s Ferry, WV; paroled 16 Sep. Sick in hospital Baltimore, MD from 27 Nov 1862. Transferred to Invalid Corps 1 Sep 1863. Discharged 26 Dec 1863. TALLMAN, Stephen – Born in Tyre. Enlisted at Tyre 24 Dec 1863, age 20. Mustered in 26 Dec 1863 as Private, Co. H, 148th NY Infantry. Spelled Tollman on roster. Died of measles 7 Mar 1864 at Yorktown, VA. No grave found.
WEST, George P. – Born in Ithaca. Machinist. Enlisted at Seneca Falls in Co. C, 19th US Infantry, 17 Apr 1861. Died 13 Apr 1863 at Hancock, MD. No grave found.

Muster roll abstract shows he was captured and mustered out with company 27 Jun 1865, but other military records show killed. Grave not found.
