1. The History is Here Campaign Marker
Inscription. The History is Here campaign was a major fundraising effort conducted by the Los Alamos Historical Society during 2012-2016. Our motivation was to enable the preservation and communication of the remarkable history and inspiring stories of Los Alamos. Through the generosity of these donors the Society has been able to protect its archives and collections, expand the museum, preserve historic buildings, create new educational programs, sustain its publishing capability, and collaborate with the Manhattan Project National Historical Park.
