Spring Garden is one of the area's oldest communities, first developed by settlers from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The narrow valley was once home to an extensive meatpacking industry, bolstered by the farmsteads of the surrounding hills. These honor rolls pay tribute to the selfless contributions given by the area's residents in times of war.
