1. Welcome to LaVista Park Marker

Inscription. LaVista Park was dedicated on April 22, 2003. This park features an organic community garden and a one mile hard surface trail. The trail cuts through fields and prairie as it winds along a rock creek covered under the canopy of a deep forest. The trail then leaves the park and joins the Vadalabene Bike Trail that provides breathtaking views of the bluffs and the Mississippi River.

LaVista Park
This beautiful park has a one-mile hiking/biking trail which crosses through the center of its 93 acres. The trail consists of fairly easy travel except for a very steep decline between the wildlife viewing area and the 0.5 mile marker. The trail connects with the state-run Vadalabene Bike Trail along the Great River Road and the Mississippi River.
