Inscription. The producers at M-G-M Studios did a lot of filming in Kanab, and new leading ladies were sent to work in the westerns. This time it was Arlene Dahl teamed with Joel McCrea, Barry Sullivan, Ramon Novarro, Claud Jarman Jr. and James Whitmore in "The Outriders" in 1950. Director Roy Rowland was impressed with Arlene, and as she was a natural red head she photographed stunningly against the beauty of Kanab. Miss Dahl had a 40 year career and retained her lustre. Kanab's Little Hollywood is glad to have Arlene's addition to our Walk of Fame.
