1. Dale Evans Marker

Inscription. When Dale was assigned to be Roy Rogers co-star at Republic Studios, she was billed as the "Queen of the West". Roy and Dale fell in love during production and married in 1947, a union that lasted for 50 years. She also branched out into other films with Roy, one being "In Old Oklahoma", made here in Kanab and co-starring John Wayne, Martha Scott and Albert Decker. "In Old Oklahoma" was a huge hit in 1943 and the Wayne family and the Rogers family remained close friends the rest of their career and lives.

Erected 2019 by Wyatt and Lisa McCrea and Kanab Utah’s "Walk of Fame".
