1951 von dem Bremer Architekten Bernhard Wessel für den Frauen-Erwerbs- und Ausbildungsverein erbaut. Das sichtbare Ziegelmauerwerk mit fein gegliederter Fassade ist charakteristisch für die frühe Wiederaufbauphase dieses Teils der Innenstadt. Der Verein wurde 1867 von Marie Mindermann (1808-1882) und Ottilie Hoffmann (1835-1925) für die Aus- und Weiterbildung von Frauen gegründet.
Built in 1951 by the Bremen architect Bernhard Wessel for the Frauen-Erwerbs- und Ausbildungsverein. The visible brickwork with finely structured facade is characteristic of the early reconstruction phase of this part of the inner city. The association was founded in 1867 by Marie Mindermann (1808-1882) and Ottilie Hoffmann (1835-1925) for the education and training of women.
