Private First Class Megan E. Adelman, age 19, daughter of Mark and Melissa Adelman, enlisted in the Army on July 6, 2004 and served with the 82nd Airborne Division. She died as a result of an Army mission training accident in paratrooper school at Fort Benning, GA. PFC Adelman was to be deployed to Iraq. Born in Canton, Ohio, Megan graduated from Alliance High School in 2004 where she was a four-year letter winner in both Track and Cross Country. She married her husband Joshua M. Tenney on December 22, 2004. Megan is survived by her husband, parents, sister Tina, brother Marcus and twin-brother Matthew. PFC Megan Elizabeth Adelman is buried at Alliance City Cemetery.

"Many of us run a race, but Megan finished the race", her Pastor stated at her funeral. "She ran right into the arms of God."
