1. USS Maryland (BB-46), 1921 Marker
Inscription. This Colorado-class battleship was present at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. She later saw action at the Battles of Midway, Leyte Gulf, Saipan, and Okinawa. Nicknamed "Fighting Mary," she was later decommisioned in 1947.
