Inscription. The big, beautiful Valhalla main building was built for entertaining. Its grand hall and huge lawn could hold scores of friends and family. The porch along the outside of the building could even be transformed into sleeping porches for extra guests.

The restoration and preservation process for Valhalla and its neighboring estates began in the 1980s. Valhalla is still well-suited for large groups of people, and over the years it has become a gathering place for cultural and artistic events in the South Lake Tahoe community.
