St Martin's Church: Construction by the citizens of Amberg of the late-Gothic church, with nave and aisles of equal height, commenced in 1421; a continous gallery and radiating chapels for the leading families and guilds in the town. A parish church since 1629, with Baroque ornamentation, redesigned in neo-Gothic style from 1869 to 1874.
